Cloth Diapers and Halloween

So, I have the pattern and a sleeping baby. Unfortunately, I don't have the energy, but it must be done. Time to raid the small fabric stash and find the old flannel sheets I have. (They were great when I lived in AK, they're overkill here in PA...). As far as Halloween goes...BG will be much too young to appreciate the fun of it yet so the sky's the limit....thinking Steampunk family....We'll see how it goes...

New start

So, as of today I have a 1 week and 5 day old baby girl and have 2 months to build up a stock for this upcoming Anime USA. I'll be in Artist Alley along with Dynamite Candy in which case we call ourselves Two Gears for the collaboration. I'm going to try and blog everyday and see how that goes between new parenting, crafting and schooling.

I know, I know

I'm really bad at this blogging thing. Maybe I should just have random rants and let it evolve on it's own. I have created a couple more jewelry pieces and made me an infinity dress. Pictures to come at some point. Pregnancy seems to take a lot out of a person lol.

Preparing for Hagerstown Raks Halfa 2010

I will be attending the Halfa in Hagerstown, MD. Come by and see everyone ^_^. Tickets will be $8 at the door at Wachohu Grange Hall.

Recovery

Had Military drill this past weekend. (Yes, I am I military mom-to-be). Had so much good luck today and got things done. Hopefully I'll have another piece done tonight and post pictures soon.

Made a few pieces of jewelry in the past 24 hours. With the hormones raging, it's the only thing I can do right now that allows me to have my feet up and relax to keep somewhat sane. *laughs* Got to go to fufill military obligation for the month. I should have pictures of the new pieces soon.

In the beginning...

So, here I am. Blogging. About my creations. Maybe it's the kick start I need really. First time mother, trying to get back into the Info Systems job market that needs a stress reliever and a little extra cash to keep ends meeting. Maybe I should challenge myself to make a piece of jewelry or craft a hat each day for the rest of the month. Could be fun.....

Although I am welcome to challenges. And Commissions. You have a vague idea of what you want, I should be able to handle it.
